As per the guidelines of "The Environment Impact Notification"of Ministry
of Environment & Forests, Government of India dated 14th September2006 -
'Any person who desires to undertake the new project or expansion or
modernisation of any industry or project enlisted in schedule 1 of the
notification,requires to submit an application to the Secretary,Ministry
of Environment & Forests, New Delhi in the prescribed proforma to be
accompanied by the Project report which inter-alia includes an Environmental
Impact Assessment report including Environmental Management Plan & Details
of Public hearing. The project report has to be prepared in accordance with
the guidelines issued by Central Government in the Ministry of Environment
& Forests
